Our new home!!!

Me & my hubby bought our first home & some land in July! We are so excited! We are remodeling the home now. It's so much fun to design your own home! Cabinets, countertops, paint colors, flooring, etc. I am learning how to do lots of fun projects! I will try to post pictures when we get moved in of the house completely finished! For now the ones I post show that we are still working.
The living room. Still have to paint.
My bathroom vanity I painted & distressed.
Kitchen before we started painting & staining!
Me & my friend painted & stained the cabinets.
My kitchen island.
Before we finished painting the cabinets.
Anyway it's a work in progress! I am so excited about it! Can't wait to be finished remodeling & decorate it.

Three Beautiful Mothers

This is my beautiful mother that God gave me!!! I couldn't ask for better!! She taught how to live for God! She taught me right from wrong. She has always been there for me. I never had to worry about her not being home. She stayed at home with her family. I hope I can be like my mom when I raise a family of my own! Our house was always clean. We had food to eat. Clean clothes to wear. I could go on & on!!! I love you mom with all my heart!
This is my mom-in-love & sister-in-love that God placed in my life last year. They are amazing! They have treated me with so much love. Acting like I was born & raised in their family. I'm so thankful for both of them. I love you both!

Purple Stride Pancreatic Cancer Walk

Some of our church family signed up to do a pancreatic cancer walk on December 8th. We done it in loving memory of Pastor Wayne Cardwell. We had our own special shirts made. I think all together there was about 49 of us walking. It was so awesome knowing what we were walking for. Bro. Cardwell was truly loved. Purple Stride is an organization that sponsors these cancer walks and charges $25.00 to register. The money they raise goes toward finding a cure for pancreatic cancer. As you know, there isn't any right now.
We all enjoyed walking in honor. I would love to join this walk every year. Below I posted a link to some pictures. Thanks for looking at my blog!!!😃
